Using and Contributing to AAPT's ComPADRE
Physics educators are both innovative in creating and generous in sharing teaching materials they develop. ComPADRE provides AAPT’s online tools and services that promote the sharing and discovery of this “good stuff”. AAPT/ComPADRE hosts many physics education projects, including OPTYCs, PICUP (computation in undergraduate physics), PhysPort (PER-based resources for all instructors), and the Living Physics Portal (teaching materials for life-sciences focused introductory physics courses).
The goal of this workshop is to help all attendees understand what is available through the projects and content hosted on ComPADRE. It is our hope that everyone will leave with things that can help with their classes. Before the workshop, we’ll want to find out more about the needs you would most like to see addressed. We will also spend a little time discussing how you might become involved with some of the ComPADRE-hosted projects, and how you might contribute. If there is time and interest, we can also explores ways that ComPADRE can better serve OPTYCs and the two-year college physics community.
