| Abstract Type: | Poster |
| Abstract: | The Organization of Physics for Two Year Colleges (OPTYCs) mission is to provide a single venue to improve opportunities for networking, mentoring, professional development, educational research, and educational transformation at TYCs. This poster will focus on the mentoring aspect of OPTYC which is a free service for any faculty teaching in a part time or full-time capacity at the two-year college level. There are two main types of mentoring available through OPTYC, Traditional and Mutual mentoring. This poster will provide directions for signing up, why someone should consider mentoring, and describe the differences between the two main types offered. This material is based upon work supported by the National Science Foundation under Grant No. 2212807. |
