| Abstract: | In the fall semester, I successfully transitioned a conceptual physics course into a test-free format, replacing tests with weekly individual assessments and a final project. In the spring, I attempted to do the same in my General (algebra-based) Physics classes. The transition has been anything but smooth. I will share the difficulties I've had, what I think may have caused the problems, and how I plan to move forward (or backward?) in the transition process. |
