| Abstract: | The Jack C Davis Observatory has been on campus at Western Nevada College, a TYC in Carson City, NV, for 20 years. In this time it has become a destination for astronomy enthusiasts from around the world. However, we still teach astronomy classes in the same space. Learn about the challenges and opportunities that arise from running an observatory at a TYC. In the end you can bring students, staff, and the community closer together by putting eyes to telescopes. |
