| Abstract: | It is generally acknowledged that online classes are more challenging for students as well as the instructors. This is particularly the case for college physics or higher-level physics courses at community college setting where many of the students lack the adequate background required for such courses. However, with appropriate interventions, it is possible to teach quality higher-level online physics courses that retain such students as well as address the learning outcomes. I will discuss how I have designed open resource college physics courses at Madisonville Community College. |
